As a teen who entered the Demon Lord Faction, it can be eluded that Fio had a sense of admiration for their new Demon Lord, Leohart, and was distraught after realizing the current odd situation that he was in with both Jin and entering their enemy base.

Both Jin and Fio started off with a rocky relationship after waking up to find the former hero nearby and had even attacked him before stopping. Though both later started to develop a more friendly relationship, even talking about the current situation for both their sides, which progress to where Fio continued to travel with Jin in an attempt to find out where Sapphire was. After learning that Sapphire was captured in the Divine Realm, Fio decides to follow Jin under the pretense that his standing within the moderate faction would improve.
